Rules and Regulations of MMES Public School (CBSE)

Ensuring a safe and disciplined environment for all students.

General Discipline

  • Students must arrive at school on time every day. Late arrivals may result in disciplinary action.
  • Maintain silence during the morning assembly, in corridors, and while moving between classes.
  • Leaving the classroom or school premises without permission is strictly prohibited.
  • Respect must be shown to all staff members, including teaching and non-teaching personnel.
  • Fighting, bullying, teasing, or any form of aggression is not tolerated.
  • Vandalism or damaging school property will lead to serious consequences.
  • Repeated misconduct may lead to suspension or expulsion.

Classroom Etiquette

  • Be punctual and prepared with all required books and materials.
  • Listen actively and avoid interrupting the class or the teacher.
  • Raise your hand before speaking or leaving your seat.
  • Use of mobile phones and gadgets is prohibited without permission.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order within the classroom.

Uniform & Appearance

  • Students must wear the prescribed school uniform on all working days and special occasions.
  • Uniforms should be clean, ironed, and well-maintained.
  • Boys must maintain neat haircuts. Girls must tie their hair properly and avoid wearing ornaments.
  • Use of cosmetics, mehndi, or nail polish is not allowed.

Cleanliness & Hygiene

  • Students should maintain personal hygiene and wear fresh clothes daily.
  • Littering is strictly forbidden. Use dustbins provided in the campus.
  • Students must keep classrooms, corridors, and washrooms clean.

Digital Discipline

  • Mobile phones, tablets, and electronic devices are not allowed unless permitted by the teacher.
  • Any misuse of technology, including social media, will result in strict disciplinary action.
  • Cyberbullying or online misconduct involving school community members is taken seriously.

Attendance & Leave

  • Regular attendance is mandatory. Absences must be informed with valid reason and approval.
  • Leave for more than 3 days must be approved in writing by the Principal.
  • Medical certificate is mandatory for medical leave beyond two days.
  • 75% attendance is required for appearing in final exams unless exempted by the Principal.

Behaviour with Peers

  • Students are expected to treat each other with kindness and respect at all times.
  • Groupism, favoritism, or exclusion is discouraged within the school environment.
  • Disputes must be brought to the attention of teachers or the counselor immediately.

Library Etiquette

  • Maintain silence inside the library at all times.
  • Books must be handled with care and returned on or before the due date.
  • Loss or damage to books must be compensated by the student.
  • Use of mobile phones is not allowed inside the library.

Laboratory Rules

  • Students must follow safety protocols and instructions given by teachers.
  • No equipment should be handled without supervision.
  • Report any accidents, spills, or damage immediately to the lab assistant.

Transport Discipline

  • Students using school transport must follow instructions of the driver and helper.
  • Misbehavior inside the bus will lead to withdrawal of transport facility.
  • Pick-up and drop-off points should be adhered to as per the schedule.

Assembly Conduct

  • All students must attend the morning assembly regularly and punctually.
  • Maintain complete silence and discipline during the assembly proceedings.
  • Participate respectfully in national anthem, prayers, and announcements.
  • Students must stand in assigned rows as per class and section.

Canteen Etiquette

  • Queue discipline must be followed at the canteen counter.
  • Do not waste food or litter the canteen premises.
  • Only healthy and permitted food items should be purchased.
  • Respect the staff and follow all hygiene protocols.

Sports & Co-Curricular Conduct

  • Students must participate in sports and activities with team spirit and discipline.
  • Proper sports uniform must be worn during practice and competitions.
  • Use of abusive language or aggressive behavior on the field is prohibited.
  • Equipment must be used responsibly and returned after use.

Examination Conduct

  • Strict silence must be maintained during all exams.
  • Any form of malpractice, copying, or cheating will result in cancellation of paper.
  • Stationery must be brought by the student. Borrowing is not allowed.
  • Use of unfair means may result in disciplinary action and parent intimation.

Code of Ethics

  • Students must act with honesty, integrity, and respect at all times.
  • Bullying, harassment, or discrimination of any form is strictly prohibited.
  • Students should report violations or grievances to teachers or the school counselor.

Environmental Responsibility

  • Students must actively participate in cleanliness drives and waste segregation.
  • Use of single-use plastics is discouraged on school premises.
  • Students must conserve water and electricity and promote sustainable practices.

Grievance Redressal & Counseling

  • Students are encouraged to report issues to their class teacher or the school counselor.
  • All grievances will be addressed confidentially through a proper redressal mechanism.

Responsible Online Behavior

  • Posting inappropriate content about the school, staff, or students online is strictly prohibited.

Field Trips & Off-Campus Conduct

  • Students are expected to maintain school discipline during all excursions and external visits.
